When building your Tacoma for off-road, camping, or utility use, the weight of added gear can quickly stress your truck bed. From bed racks and rooftop tents to camper shells and heavy loads, repeated stress on your bedsides can lead to flexing, cracks, and misalignment over time. BPF Bed Stiffeners are a smart preventative measure to protect your investment before damage happens.
These reinforced steel L-brackets bolt into the rear corners of your Tacoma to enhance the structural integrity of the bedsides. Our tie-in design connects the bedsides to the bottom bolts, reducing flex and providing unmatched stability, whether you're hauling heavy loads, mounting a rooftop tent, or navigating rugged trails.

Fit was good and install was super easy.
Worked out great. I wanted to get these installed before I mount my rooftop tent for the first time and finding out the company was Canadian is a bonus. I would rather buy local and support our businesses and economy. Installation instructions would be helpful just to know where to put the spacer and also what components to take off of the fastening sub-assembly to properly engage the thread for torquing up. Easy enough to figure out, but might not be for others.
Overall fit and finish seems good. Could do without the branding but preferred the look and design of this one over some competitors so I can live with it. I had to alter one of the holes on the passenger side to get it to sit as I wanted it. I had to force the bracket over in order to get the bolt in at which point it sat crooked relative to the bed as seen in photo. The two brackets were the same in terms of hole placement so I presume this is on Toyota, not BPF. Installation instructions might have been nice but it's pretty intuitive. All necessary hardware provided including backing plates for additional mounting locations.
