Which vehicles and model years does this panel fit?

This panel fits 2005 to 2015 Toyota Tacoma models. Choose the version that matches your truck: 2005 to 2015 Tacoma or 2016 to 2023 Tacoma. These panels are not listed for the 2024 and newer Tacoma.

Is the tailgate storage lockable, and what is included?

Yes. The kit includes an aluminum tailgate storage panel and two black powder coated lockable paddle latches with keys. The hinge is preinstalled, and installation reuses your factory mounting hardware. The panel ships as raw, unpainted aluminum; painted examples in photos do not change the supplied finish.

Does installation require cutting or drilling?

No. The current Tacoma panel replaces the factory inner tailgate panel and reuses the factory mounting hardware without cutting or drilling. Some older videos or customer installations show earlier hardware arrangements; follow the current product description and contact BPF if your panel differs.
